The clear, fresh water of Durlassboden reservoir warms up to a pleasant 21 degrees in the summer months, making Gerlos a true summer highlight. Surf or simply relax – splash about, swim, stand up paddling, kayak or pedal boat – the choice is yours! Or why not head for the sunbathing area beside the lake? The jetty is right at the top of the dam near the “Seestüberl” restaurant. A great hiking tip: The loop around the reservoir is a wonderful hike – and you can stop off for refreshment at Alpengasthof Finkau, Bärschlagalm and Seestüberl at the top of the dam.
