Im Winterreich der Wasserfälle

The Krimml Waterfalls are not only an impressive natural spectacle in summer.
Due to the shady location, only a few rays of sunlight reach the waterfalls,
and so beautiful ice formations are created at the right temperatures.

The tour starts at the tourist office in Krimml -
there the participants receive their snowshoes (depending on the snow conditions) from the National Park ranger.
After a few hundred metres, the snowshoes are put on and the normal hiking trail is left behind -
we are now in fields and meadows wearing their winter dress.
Walking gently uphill, we reach places that offer a view of Krimml and the Kitzbühel Alps.
Shortly afterwards, we reach the wintry waterfalls.
After a short rest, the tour continues along snow-covered paths and through wintry
streets until we reach the starting point of the snowshoe hike again.

In case there is not enough snow for a snow show hike, the tour will be made as hiking tour.
