ON THE TRAILS OF SMUGGLERS & DROVERS
Experience an impressive hike full of history and alpine beauty. We will first comfortably take a taxi to the Krimmler Tauernhaus – the starting point of a tour that was once used by smugglers and drovers.
Together we hike towards Italy past the Friedenshain, and continue to the idyllic Windbachalm. Surrounded by impressive mountain scenery, we follow historical paths through the Hohe Tauern National Park.
Afterwards, the trail leads us back to the Krimmler Tauernhaus, where we can reflect on our impressions over a cozy meal. Finally, the taxi will comfortably take us back to Krimml.
An exciting tour for everyone who wants to combine movement, history, and enjoyment of nature.

Costs: € 22.00 transfer per person (round trip to Krimml Tauernhaus) Participation in the hike is free with the KrimmlCard, otherwise € 15.00 per person.
