Herzleuchten Zell am Ziller

In the evening hours of the winter months, the centre of Zell am Ziller shines in a special light. Visitors can immerse themselves in a unique backdrop on the light trail and be enchanted by the various light installations.

The highlight of the Trail of Lights is the Zell am Ziller leisure park, which opens on 21 December 2024.

Snowtubing in Gerlosstein

The other amazing snow activity in the Gerlosstein ski area is called snowtubing. You whizz down the mountain in a tyre on specially prepared runs.

Zell leisure park

At Zell leisure park you can enjoy a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities and spend a variety-packed day with the whole family.

Kristallbad Wald

Highlights such as the 50-metre long tube slide, the special children’s pool with various attractions and the natural water garden ensure lots of different swimming fun.

National Park Centre

The 1,800 m² Hohe Tauern National Park Worlds in Mittersill are among the most modern national park centres in Europe.

Krimml Waterfalls

The Krimml Waterfalls – the largest waterfalls in Europe are not only a breathtaking natural spectacle in summer, but also show their most beautiful and romantic side in winter. Floodlit every Wednesday until 9.30 p.m. Admire this exceptional natural spectacle.

We highly recommend taking one of the torchlight hikes to the waterfall. In the warm glow of the flickering fire, the area around the waterfall looks like an enchanted winter forest and the reflected snow creates incredibly beautiful mood lighting. Welcomed by a group of local brass musicians at the snow-covered waterfall, the atmosphere is finally perfect.
