Tobogganing fun in the Zillertal Arena

When tobogganing in Zillertal, the fun factor is multiplied by ten for the whole family, but also for ambitious lugers. After all, what could be better than a jolly toboggan race with the family through the winter wonderland covered in deep snow in the largest ski area in Zillertal?

On the 6, partly floodlit, toboggan runs in the Zillertal Arena holiday resorts (Zell, Gerlos, Wald-Königsleiten, Krimml-Hochkrimml) you can hardly avoid a stop at a cosy, rustic hut. Even night owls get their money’s worth when tobogganing in the Zillertal Arena, because some of our toboggan runs are also open at night.

Gerlosstein toboggan run

It is not just classic skis that are the world. The longest toboggan run in the Zillertal is also a sporty thrill. The trip up by Gerlosstein cable car to the start at an altitude of 1,650 m is comfortable and fast – and you’re ready to whizz down the 7 km toboggan run. The toboggan run is floodlit, so you can also pop in to one of the cosy rustic inns.

Gerlos toboggan run

Krummbachtal also has a 1.5 km toboggan run (floodlit). During the day, you can head up to the start with the ski bus. In the evening, simply order a taxi transfer.

Toboggan run in Wald

The small toboggan run at the Finkenhof in Wald is floodlit in the evening until 8.00 p.m. and is particularly suitable for children. Length: approx. 200 m – slight gradient – ideal for children!

Start behind the Hotel Ursprung to the B 165 old Gerlosstraße. Route length approx. 950 metres. Toboggan hire at the sports shops

Toboggan run in Krimml

Natural toboggan run from Hotel Burgeck to the centre of the village, floodlit daily until 10.00 p.m. Length: 0.8 km

Hochkrimml toboggan run

Filzsteinalm toboggan run – Monday, Wednesday and Saturdays floodlit until 9.00 p.m. and skidoo transfer.
