In the evening hours of the winter months, the centre of Zell am Ziller shines in a special light. Visitors can immerse themselves in a unique backdrop on the light trail and be enchanted by the various light installations.

The highlight of the Trail of Lights is the Zell am Ziller leisure park, which opens on 21 December 2024.

Arena Coaster
the alpine roller coaster in Zillertal

The Arena Coaster at the Rosenalmbahn bottom station in Zell am Ziller provides fun, action and speed. The 1,450 m of coaster fun starts at the Zillertal Arena bottom station in Zell (Rosenalmbahn) and is not just THE summer and winter attraction for children with several waves, steep curves and jumps! A 360° gyro and a 540° gyro provide an additional adrenaline rush.

Snowtubing in Gerlosstein

The other amazing snow activity in the Gerlosstein ski area is called snowtubing. You whizz down the mountain in a tyre on specially prepared runs.
