Ski touring & snowshoeing

Want to enjoy nature away from the pistes, cross-country routes and groomed trails in the largest ski area in Zillertal? Why not try ski touring away from busy slopes or head out on a snowshoe hike. Discover untouched winter scenery, forests blanketed in white and animal tracks that disappear into the snow. The necessary equipment can be booked on request. Enjoy the untouched winter countryside on your skiing holiday in Zillertal.

Off-piste adventures

The new craze in the Alps is ski touring. Special skis with skins for a good grip uphill and special ski boots: that’s all you need, and you’re perfectly equipped for ski touring. Explore the Salzburg and Tirol mountains almost like you would in summer – except you’re on skis. Scale a 3,000 m-plus peak in the Hohe Tauern or take it easier on a hut-to-hut tour – the choice is yours.
