Welcome to Latschenland at Isskogel at 1,950 m above sea level - where imagination takes root and adventure grows!Set amongst crystal-clear mountain lakes, fragrant mountain pines and a variety of interactive activity stations, a world of adventure awaits you where play, nature and physical activity come together perfectly. Whether you’re with young children, curious explorers or active mountain lovers – in Latschenland, every outing becomes a shared adventure. Games, water, animals, viewpoints and cosy rest areas ensure that boredom never sets in and that everyone finds their favourite spot.
The Adventure Trail invites explorers of all ages to experience nature with all their senses. Along the way, a variety of play and activity stations encourage climbing, balancing, splashing and hands-on fun. Water games, the mud kitchen, the Dwarf Land and the popular wooden marble runs provide plenty of excitement, turning every step into a new adventure. Children discover the alpine world through play, improve their coordination and let their imagination run free.
The Lake Trail winds through the stunning mountain landscape of the Isskogel and invites you to slow down and enjoy nature. Passing the idyllic Latschen Lakes and the new reservoir, the trail offers magnificent views of the surrounding peaks. Comfortable resting areas, sunbathing spots and scenic viewpoints provide the perfect place to take a break, enjoy a picnic or simply breathe in the fresh mountain air. Here, relaxation, nature and quality family time take centre stage.
The Kraftweg combines exercise and mindfulness. Trail running, yoga spots (with yoga flows in the Locandy app), the ‘Gipfelfenster’ viewpoint, the ‘Himmelsstiege’ steps and the ‘Liebeszauber’ spot offer plenty of opportunities to recharge your batteries and actively experience the mountain world. As a result, the hiking and day-trip area around the Isskogel is constantly evolving, offering visitors even more ways to actively enjoy the mountain landscape.
The two wooden marble runs are 150 metres long and offer many highlights with funnels, spirals, a wave run and labyrinth. And the best thing is: as the marble runs are parallel to each other, you can start an exciting competition and see whose ball overcomes the obstacles faster to the finish. The marble run can be used free of charge, you just have to buy the marbles for €2.00. They can then be taken home as a souvenir. At the end of the tour you can enjoy delicious treats in the Restaurant Latschenalm, or in the Arena Center - Bar & Restaurant.

On the Murmelbahnen, balls roll through creative obstacles – sometimes fast, sometimes tricky, but always guaranteed to be fun! Little inventors and big ball masters will get their money’s worth. The Goasalweg winds through nature and leads directly to the animal stars of Latschenalm: Goats, rabbits, and calves are looking forward to curious visitors and gentle caresses. In Zwergenland, fairy tale characters and emoji trees come to life – a place where imagination does somersaults. And for those who love to squelch, the mud kitchen will be a hit: Here, using forest ingredients, the “most delicious” magic dishes are created. For a break in between, the chill-out area with hammocks and the yoga spots with mountain views invite you to catch your breath. Those who prefer to stay in motion can explore the hiking and running trails that wind through the dreamy landscape. At the top stands the golden eagle of Gerlos – a proud symbol of freedom. And at the Thronplatz, the heart of Latschenland, a view awaits that leaves you speechless. Whether playing, marveling, or relaxing – Latschenland is a place full of magic, nature, and unforgettable moments.
